The Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre boasts 450 executive Hotel rooms, 23 conference rooms and a recreational facility creating an attractive and tranquil atmosphere for both leisure and corporate guests. Of the 450 guest bedrooms, 248 are twin rooms, 95 standard twin rooms, 22 queen prestige rooms, 30 luxury king rooms, 10 suites , 2 honeymoon suites and 4 rooms for the disabled.



All rooms offer the facilities you would expect from a 4 star Hotel such as en-suite bathroom, TV with satellite channels, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, safe and mini bar fridge.

The prestige rooms are larger in size with a dedicated work desk designed to suit the needs of the corporate traveller. A mini kitchenette with limited cutlery and crockery is also available in all prestige rooms.

The luxury suite consists of a bedroom comprising all of the above plus a lounge, dining area and full kitchen facility.

120 Restaurant is a fine dining restaurant which comprises a range of exciting new quality dishes, served by our enthusiastic and skilled staff. The atmosphere is tastefully elegant combined with the vibrant atmosphere of The Birchwood Executive Hotel. 

With a menu that will surprise you and guide you through a world of exciting tastes, 120 Restaurant is open 24 hours a day.

Breakfast is served daily in the Birchwood breakfast room from 06h00 daily.

Birchwood Spur is a popular family restaurant adjoining the Hotel. Open daily from 11h00 – 23h00 relax and enjoy the fine cuisine from one of South Africa’s leading restaurant chains.

For the late night drink try the Hi Flyerz Aviation Theme Bar, an informal pub that will keep you entertained until the early hours of the morning.

 The Health Nut Café is a new and innovative dining experience, where we serve naturally good food with all the healthy benefits. We lose the fat and keep all the natural, rich flavours that everyone loves.

No Matter what your lifestyle is, your needs will be catered for, whether you’re a gym fanatic, dieter, non-dieter, eager to lose / gain / maintain your weight or just for pure enjoyment!
The Health Nut Café also assists diabetics to control their diets responsibly, by eliminating cane and harmful sugars – thus only natural sugars are used i.e. fructose, honey or carob.

The deli section also caters for your needs by selling diabetic biscuits, chocolates and a few other favourite treats. There is also a health juice bar, serving freshly processed juices and smoothies, as well as a variety of herbal teas, de-caffeinated and flavoured coffees.

 By maintaining healthy eating habits, one reduces the risk of cholesterol and heart disease, therefore we use no fats and no oils, our meals are steamed or grilled – never deep fried! We also offer low GI alternatives (brown or whole wheat products).

Wheat free, Dairy free, Sucrose free and only no fat dairy products are used where necessary, for those who suffer from various allergies.
