The reception area is spacious with a balconied foyer overlooking the Palm Terrace. Attractive planters placed around the tiled floor, and the lightly textured walls topped with a ceiling frieze of tropical foliage and flowers, all contribute to an immediate holiday feeling.



Accommodation at Sun City Cabanas:
All the 380 rooms now offer modern upmarket décor and a retro design with a European feel. The rooms have been restyled in muted hues and the white cotton linen duvets enhance the fresh feel of the rooms and allow for a more casual style.

Guests can choose between standard and luxury Cabanas, all of which are fully air-conditioned and equipped with quality flat screen TV’s with selected DSTV channels, tea and coffee making facilities and electronic safes and telephones.

The Sun City Cabanas are built on two levels with rooms on the ground floor and first floors. The rooms are located in seven "blocks" situated around the main reception and restaurant area.



Guests can choose their accommodation type to suit their needs. The Standard Cabanas are all air-conditioned with TV and radio and a shower en-suite, whilst the Family Cabanas are larger, accommodating four people with a full bathroom. Both accommodations are decorated in fresh and relaxing themes and provide all the necessary comforts.

Family Cabanas at the Cabanas can accommodate a maximum of two adults and two children (the combined age of the children should not exceed 18 years) and have the following amenities: Air-conditioning, Telephone, Radio, Colour Satellite TV with Remote Control, Full en-suite bathroom, Twin or double beds and double fold-out bed, Tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, Hairdryers and pay to view movie channel.

Lake Family Rooms: There are 32 Lake Family rooms, all Lake facing. Twin beds with convertible couch, Double beds with convertible couch, Twin beds with convertible couch (non-smoking), Double beds with convertible couch (non-smoking).

Dining at Sun City Cabanas:
The Sun City Cabanas have two restaurants - Palm Terrace and Butchers Grill Steakhouse - and a pool bar, which is situated on a terrace overlooking the swimming pool. The Palm Terrace serves a full breakfast buffet in a garden setting and the Butchers Grill Steakhouse specializes in juicy steaks and grills - South Africa 's favourite food - and is open for lunch and dinner.
