Malvern Manor Country House

Malvern Manor Country House is a small Luxury graded Guest House, in the Cape Dutch style, set on a farm in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains, providing spectacular views.


The estate runs a jersey dairy herd, and offers fishing and picnics at its own private dam, guests are welcome to walk around the farm to enjoy the scenery and a variety of birdlife.

Each of the three rooms are individually decorated and furnished with the emphasis on luxury and comfort.

Location
A less expensive alternative to Fancourt, which is just 2 kilometers away, Malvern Manor is in the heart of our golfing paradise. The fantastic George Golf Club, Bramble Hill, Ou Baai and Pinnacle Point golf courses are all nearby.



A choice of fine dining at Fancourt is less than 2 km away and a trip into the town of George is a 10 minutes drive, where there is a wide selection of shops and restaurants. The airport is 9km and the nearest beach is just 10 minutes away.

Mossel Bay, Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, and Oudtshoorn are all within easy reach, making this an ideal base to explore the Garden Route with its many attractions.

Rooms at Malvern Manor Country House
The 3 bedrooms consist of family suite, twin/ king, queen, all with full en-suite facilities. Each individual room is luxuriously and stylishly furnished with its own theme.

There is a T.V. and Mini bar, a tea and coffee tray with biscuits, plus fresh fruit provided and a complementary drink of port. Have a good night sleep in fresh Percale cotton bed linen, under a feather or fibre duvet (the choice is yours) on fully sprung orthopaedic mattresses.

Wrap yourself in big fluffy towels after a luxurious bath or shower; two of the bathrooms also have twin wash basins giving you more space. There is also a hairdryer and safe provided in each room for your convenience. Each room is heated and for the hotter days we find the rooms are naturally cool but a fan is also provided.



Dining & Entertainment
Malvern Manor is ostensibly a bed & Breakfast establishment. The Copper Pot, voted one of the top 10 restaurants in South Africa, is the nearest restaurant being under 2 km away. Fancourt hotel offers a fine selection of restaurants which is just 2 km away and the town of George, only 10 min drive away, has a large selection of eating places.
