The Outeniqua Course is another majestic 18-hole Parkland layout at Fancourt. Designed by legendary Grand Slam golfer Gary Player, it is similar in character to its sibling The Montagu, and its challenging design and fine conditioning will ensure an excellent test for all levels of golfers.

As with all courses at Fancourt, there are a variety of tees from which to choose to play, ensuring that golfers are unlikely to ever feel overpowered by the course.

Like the Montagu, play is restricted to hotel residents, members and their guests, so you are unlikely to ever feel crowded on the course, however, it is always a good idea to book in advance to ensure that you get your desired tee time.

If you're feeling a little rusty or just want to ease into your game, the Warm-up Area is available to resort guests and members. Here you will be able to make use of a putting and chipping green, green-side and fairway bunkers as well as a full-length driving range.

Club regulations: Appropriate golf attire is required and soft spikes are required on the golf course. Handicap certificate compulsory. Please note that no cell phones are permitted on the golf courses or in the bar.

The Fancourt Hotel: The Fancourt Hotel & Country Club Estate is set on 350 acres of beautiful South African countryside. A combination of old world charm and values, and modern luxuries make Fancourt an ideal holiday or conference venue. Enjoy superb cuisine in one of four restaurants.
