Itinerary

Day One - Arrival in Cape Town

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by an African Sports Safaris representative and assisted with your rental car. Follow our representative to the hotel where he will give you a comprehensive orientation, explain the vouchers to you and answer any questions which you might have about your holiday. Our representative will also suggest a range of optional site seeing attractions for your consideration while in Cape Town and along the Garden Route.

Day Two - Golf at Clovelly Country Club

(Optional) Spend the afternoon exploring the city of Cape Town and we suggest that you take the first must see opportunity to take a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain.

Day Three - Golf at Westlake Golf Club

(Optional) After golf we suggest you visit The Cape Point Nature Reserve and Cape of Good Hope. Explore this area and be sure to stop at the natural penguin colony at Boulders Beach on your return.

Day Four - Site Seeing Day

(Optional) We suggest a visit to Robben Island today to experience a part of the miracle of transformation of the Rainbow Nation that is South Africa, epitomised by Nelson Mandela. You may wish to also join a conducted Township Tour.

Day Five - Cape Town to Winelands region

Depart down the Garden Route for the town of Stellenbosch along the N2 highway and check into Klein Zalze Estate. This afternoon we recommend some wine tasting and possibly lunch at Vergelegen Wine Estate.

Day Six - Golf at De Zalze Golf Course

(Optional) Wine Tasting at Spier Wine Estate and a visit to the Cheetah Outreach facility and Bird of Prey Sanctuary. We will also recommend the best restaurants to dine.

Day Eight - Stellenbosch to Arabella

Drive along the spectacular coastal route via Gordons Bay, Rooiels, Betty's Bay and Kleinmond to Hermanus where you check into Auberge Burgundy Lodge in the Town Centre and just metres from the Indian Ocean.

We recommend you dine at a choice of Lemon Butta Restaurant, Quayside Cabin of La Pentola, all excellent dining experiences.

Day Nine - Golf at Arabella Golf Club

(Optional) Spend the afternoon browsing the popular seaside town of Hermanus and if your trip is between the months of July and November, enjoy a whale watching boat ride in Walker Bay or just stroll along the Walker Bay walkway and experience the best land based whale watching in the world.

Day Ten - Golf at Hermanus Golf Club

Today you Tee up on the 27 hole Hermanus Golf course, a superb layout nestling between the bay and the scenic mountain range.

Day Eleven - Arabella to Cape Town Airport
