Day One - Arrival in Cape Town

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by an African Sports Safaris representative and assisted with your rental car. Follow our representative to the hotel where he will give you a comprehensive orientation, explain the vouchers to you and answer any questions which you might have about your holiday. Our representative will also suggest a range of optional site seeing attractions for your consideration while in Cape Town and along the Garden Route.

Day Two - Golf at Clovelly Country Club

(Optional) Spend the afternoon exploring the city of Cape Town and we suggest that you take the first must see opportunity to take a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain.

Day Three - Golf at Westlake Golf Club

(Optional) After golf we suggest you visit The Cape Point Nature Reserve and Cape of Good Hope. Explore this area and be sure to stop at the natural penguin colony at Boulders Beach on your return.

Day Four - Site Seeing Day

(Optional) We suggest a visit to Robben Island today to experience a part of the miracle of transformation of the Rainbow Nation that is South Africa, epitomised by Nelson Mandela. You may wish to also join a conducted Township Tour, drive the Wine Route or visit the wild Penguin colony en route to Cape Point.

Day Five - Cape Town to Winelands region

Depart down the Garden Route for the town of Somerset West along the N2 highway and check into De Zalze Golf Lodge. Siutuated overlooking the suprb De Zalze Golf Course, this lodge is ideally located to enable you to play the regions finest golf courses including Pearl Valley, Erinvale and De Zalze, while enjoying the abundance of wine estates and restaurants in the cilunary capital of South Africa.

This afternoon we recommend some wine tasting and possibly lunch at Terroir Restaurant on the De Zalze Wine Estate.

Check out of Fancourt and drive the hour and a half drive via the scenic lakes to the holiday mecca town of Plettenberg Bay. En route we recommend that you stop off for an extended look around the quaint town of Knysna to explore this beautiful estuarine town.

Day Thirteen - Plettenberg Bay to Lalibela Game Reserve

Check out of the NH Hotel and drive along the N2 Highway towards Port Elizabeth. Continue to the Lalibela Game Reserve, home of Africa's Big Five and a malaria free reserve (Maps will be provided). After checking into your rooms you will be taken on a Game drive in open topped vehicles. Return to Lalibela for dinner.

Day Fourteen - Wildlife Safari

A full day on safari where you go in search of rhino, buffalo, elephant, lion and leopard as well as the plains game which inhabit the area. Enjoy game drives in the back of the open topped vehicles or follow your Ranger as he tracks the game on foot.

Day Fifteen - Depart Port Elizabeth
